Aavii Continues To Reinvent Ourselves Despite Malaysia’s 3rd National Lockdown from 1st to 14th June 2021
As Malaysia observe our 3rd Movement Control Order (MCO), we like to reach out to our readers for a quick update about us:
Aavii remains at your service 9am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays as we WFH (since March 2020). Tough as it may sound for the event industry, we are still working on 143 virtual events (YTD & counting) with 30 fully mobile employees on our payroll with extensive knowledge in virtual events. With your valuable support, we are resilient and hopeful for a better 2021.
Whilst our team continue to innovate our products and services to Virtual Platform, Podcast, Live-Streaming, Videos & Animated Content Development, we registered high demand & preference for physical/hybrid events for 3rd & 4th Quarter of 2021 i.e. product launches, video productions, year-end gatherings & even kick-off meetings for Jan 2022. After all, downtime like now is the best time to plan & propel forward instead of sulking over what we can't control.
We have also started co-branding discussion with event venues to feature hybrid events technology such as AR (Augmented Reality), Multi Angle Podcast Streaming and Panoramic Curve Screen for interaction with live-stream audience. Our Curve Panoramic Screen is gaining traction as the idea won us our first beauty show since March 2020 when the whole beauty industry went into a screeching halt with their events engagement activities.
Next is Time-Optimization for Aavii’s event deliverables & focus. We have streamlined our design workforce effective 1st June 2021 by not replacing the position of Graphic Design Manager. This is in line with our clients' preference for their own in-house designers for faster and better control of last-minute & within-the-hour amendments. However, motion graphics, animation & 3D team headed by Ms. Annette J. Wood remains unchanged for events ideation, launch gambit and storytelling.
Lastly, we are glad that our group is advocating & committed to getting our team vaccinated. At the point of writing, 24% of our workforce has already gotten our first dose of vaccine and 100% Aaviians have already registered for vaccine. Our reason is simple, the more people get inoculated, the sooner our industry to get back to its feet.
We understand how we are all feeling a little languish and MCO fatigue by now, but as the saying suggests "Tough times won't last, but tough people do". So hang in there!
